New Life
A meditation

 To see the unrivalled beauty
The marvel of creation
The wonder of possibility
To cherish the questions
Which spiral and amuse

For would it not be a blunt existence
If there were but one unified resolution
A triumphant fanfare
Answering every questioned theme
Stilling the spirit and the mind

Is it not within our very nature
To draw our own conclusions
To pull the thread
To undo the begun
Weave again what once was done

Tis a brave sole who challenges all
That has gone before
In favour of the freedom of thought
The universal right
To find every hole
And dig even deeper still
To abandon the plans
And build in free form
A new view of the world

 The reward:
A moment of grace
An evolutionary leap of faith
To land upon a foreign shore
A new language to explore
To witness new life being born

For it is there that I have been
For as long as you remember
Holding my secrets on the edge

Are you ready to follow?
Willing to surrender sense?

 Then let go
Fall through the past
Meet me here
On the other side of the glass
